The PID (Paiement Immédiat Direct) was launched last year. Acceptance and deployment by doctors remains limited to this day.

We would have preferred the implementation of a generalized third-party payment as it has been functional for years at the level of physiotherapists and pharmacies.

Doctors, dentists and labs can finally use since March 19, 2024 a good number of the acts included in the respective nomenclatures.

A list of doctors offering the PID unfortunately still does not exist.

We would like to inform you about recent developments regarding the new appointment system at the Caisse Nationale de Santé (CNS). In response to our letter addressed to the Minister of Social Security and Health, we received a reply detailing the measures implemented to improve access to CNS services.

We are positively encouraged by the CNS's initiative to introduce a telephone appointment system in addition to the online system. This represents a significant advancement in facilitating access to services for insured persons who encounter difficulties using the Internet. We also commend the CNS's efforts to implement various organizational, technical, and human measures to reduce appointment waiting times.

Following requests from patients regarding the quality of medical cannabis, the Patiente Vertriedung Asbl contacted the Health Directorate to find out the current state of quality.

Selon le dernier rapport de santé de l'Observatoire national de santé, une tendance alarmante est observée : un enfant sur cinq âgé de 11 à 12 ans est en surpoids, et un enfant sur trois a des caries non traitées. La hausse de l'obésité et du surpoids chez les enfants est également préoccupante, passant de 15 % chez les garçons en 2014 à 22 % en 2022. Chez les filles, la proportion est passée de onze à seize pour cent au cours de la même période. La Patiente Vertriedung ASBL plaide donc en faveur de l'introduction d'une taxe sur le sucre dans les soft-drinks au Luxembourg, similaire à celle mise en œuvre au Royaume-Uni. Face aux statistiques de santé alarmantes et aux impacts positifs de la taxe sur le sucre sur la santé des enfants dans d'autres pays, la Patiente Vertriedung ASBL demande une mesure similaire au Luxembourg.
