Lipödem Lëtzebuerg Asbl has become Lipödem Lymphödem Lëtzeburg Asbl (3L)

The association Lipödem Lëtzebuerg Asbl decided at its recent Extraordinary General Meeting to change its name to Lipödem Lymphödem Lëtzebuerg Asbl (3L). Since its creation Lipödem Lëtzebuerg Asbl has been a member of AGORA.

CNS - New procedure for sending a certificate of incapacity for work

The CNS has just published a major overhaul of their website www.cns.lu.

The site is at this date only available in French.

A new service available from 1 December 2024 on is the electronic submission of a certificate of incapacity for work. This can be done using a new online form @ cns.public.lu/fr/formulaire-declaration-incapacite-travail

How to consult at a medical center?

Consultations are now done without an appointment for the 3 medical centers.

The telephone switchboard is accessible during the opening hours of the medical centers at (+352) 20 333 111.

The medical centers are accessible

  • During the week: from 8 p.m. to midnight
  • Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays: from 8 a.m. to midnight

Notification de sécurité concernant certains modèles de pompes à insuline Medtronic MiniMed

À la suite de la notification de la Direction de la santé, le ministère de la Santé et de la Sécurité sociale informe qu’une notification de sécurité concernant certains modèles de pompes à insuline de la marque Medtronic MiniMed a été émise par Medtronic USA, représenté en Europe par Medtronic B.V. (Pays-Bas). Cette mesure vise à prévenir d’éventuels risques de santé liés à l'utilisation de ces dispositifs.


Problème identifié


Medtronic a constaté une réduction prématurée de la durée de vie de la batterie sur certains modèles de pompes à insuline MiniMed. Ce dysfonctionnement peut entraîner un arrêt imprévu de l'administration d'insuline, particulièrement si la pompe a subi des impacts, des chocs ou des chutes, susceptibles d'endommager ses composants internes.
